Right i got a 1.2 5door red corsa merit :(
i was thinkin of getting some interior trim parts sprayed red like the heater surround and shelf under the glovebox area, now if i get a sprayer to do this will it have the same sort of smooth shine as say a polished car wing? or will it be like mat kinda paint we use in houses?
Also how hard are bonnets to change because i had a little bump and its bend slightly and dosent sit flush?
And finally how hard is it to take out the speedo and change the dials?
all help is much appreciated :)
matt

it wont be a shiny finish, are you doing it yourself or getting someone to do it? there is a post in styling with pics and lots of info of me and jarjar doin our interiors, but to be honest although i have sprayed alot of my interior and im good at sprayin, jarjar would be best person to go to for advice.

bonnet is simple to change, easier if u get someone to hold it while u undo the bolts.

and i havnt changed the speedo to one with rev counter yet,but there is a post n ere where someone has put pics off how to do it.

hope that helps-and if u want anymore help to do with the interior sprayin jus let me know.

Dials are pretty easy to change but a bit fiddly to get the top part of the steering cowling off cos of the indicator stalks. Then just 3 screws to undo the front part of the speedo dome. Two more left and right at the bottom of the speedo and a clip at the top back of the speedo and it just comes out. Kinda connects via like a laptop IDE connection...so no wires to worry bout. The dial faces are lame to get at. the front perspex layer is glued onto the dials so u need to either stanley knife or use paint stripper gel to break down the bond so u can change the dials cover or paint em. I've just left mine black though cos i like it that way. Should be green backlit but it turns out the bulbs i bought are for the battery, handbrake etc lights. So kinda £10 wasted but nvm....at least all functions are green aswell now dan 8)
The bonnet is easy to get off put a bitch to get on again on ur own and to make it line up neatly with the wing panels.
Interior painting...ill aBasically im good at painting etc but my fibreglassin/fibreputty skills suck! lol...my A-pillar tweeter pods are O_o bodge :x But they pump it and looks good from outside so it all chillin?!?
Painting is only as good as the prep work u put it as far as im concerned; that and not being a fool and pilling on the thick layers of paint.
