Hi,
I changed the clutch in a 96 corsa 1.2, after i put everything back together it started dieing out a lot idleing, stoping at junctions etc,,
i looked around and seen that a pipe to the map sensor(i think) on the firewall to the inlet manifold wasnt connected!,
so i connected it up, but it made no difference in fact i think it was worse!,
now it started revving up high idleing over and being hard to start etc,
so i gave the idle control valve a quick spray with wd40,
now it just idles high all the time!
does it sound like thats the problem then?
is the plunger in the valve suppose to be easily moved up and down?
to me it seems a bit funny that it would only start doing this after changeing the clutch!

Re: corsa-eratic idle
it might just need a new idle valve
think its just a coincidence that it started when you changed your clutch lol
could it be you knocked somthing when you wer changing the clutch n it broke? not sure
seems really odd lol
