Amping My Door Speakers problem

Currently have in my 3dr Corsa Sting 1.0:
- Pioneer Deh6000ub HU
- Kicker 5 Channel Amp,
- Jbl 6x9's in parcel Shelf run by amp
- Kicker DCRV10 Subsrun by amp
- Pioneer 13cm co- axial Door Speakers (run by hu) that are 20w rms and sound shocking
But i wanted to upgrade my door speakers and bought some vibe slick50 speakers. They have a minimum power input of 35w rms so my head unit will not power them so i am going to run them off the amp, which i should have done with the old speakers anyway just never got round too it.
I have run speaker cables all the way from the amp in the boot to the footwells and i can see that there is a rubber tube that holds the cables to get to the door but i dont have a clue to get to that from the inside of the car. It appears that i need to remove the glovebox to gain access but i am wondering if there is a different way?
My alternative option would be to cut into the iso harness at the back of the head unit and connect the amp to the stock wires to run into the door, however the stock wires are very thin and i am worried about either losing sq or the wires melting with 70watts going through them.
I would appreciate some help, cheers
