Lack Of Power

Hi, i have a 1999 1.2 16v sxi on 88K and its definatly lost power, its o.k when you drive it steady but if you put ur foot down it seems to bog down and i hit a few flatspots, i let it run abit low on fuel the other day so i think it could be due to that, ive changed the fuel filter and its still no better, i was thinking if it would be a good idea if i used some STP engine flush incase it sucked in some dirt out of the bottom of the tank or could it be worse than that e.g fuel pump? yeah use some redex injections cleaner....wont make to much difference but it might helps unclog a bit of crap...and nitro shox works wonders at cleaning carbon deposits...use the redex first in one tank of fuel then the nitroshox in the next tankup. Could also be that the air filter needs cleaning/changin cos it gunked up and starvin the engine of the needed fresh air.
