cleanin air filter??

with the air filter on my induction kit..the filter is made of the normal spongey stuff...can i clean it with like soapy water or do i need special stuff?

use parafin...it good at reakin down all he crap deep in the material. but yeah...mild soapy water should work....but remember to let it dry out fully before puttin it back in :?

yeh i kno i need to let it dry lol..jus wasnt sure if it would be ok with soap :)

should be as long as u rinse it out with plain water afterward the soapy wash. common sense lol. :clap:

you can get a K&N or Pipercross filter recharge/cleaner kit from your local halfrords. is about £20, has the proper cleaning stuff and oils to do it properly. :)

Agree with chrex mate, not only does it clean it, but leaves a film of lubrication on there, so it stops all the small particals of poo getting in the engine.
