hey all, i have this wee corsa trying to get ready for the road, am only 16 and go for my test in february, but why wait to then before buying a car,
bit of details,
1996 corsa sport 14 16v
99,000miles, MOT'd april
taxed april
completely standard.

Parts purchased so far:
coilover (110mm drop )
gsi front bumper
gsi side skirts
speedlines
K&N,
4" backbox
stainless steel centre section,
cd player
6x9's
eye brows (front light ones)

Parts wanted(at right price):

bit more power.
jacking covers for skirts
four branch exhaust manifold

Update 22/11/08


fitted blue sidelight bulbs, fitted back box, stainless centre bit, and new aerial rubber seal.
also got my wind deflectors

Update 29/11/08


finally my air filter arrived, no pics of it yet, as its in the boot of the car, and its away getting a timing belt kit, and water pump just to be on the safe side, getting a coilpack to, to see if it cures the cutting out problem
also purchased my winter wheels,
found a set of mint Fanblades, cheap to,

fanblades arrived yesterday, so took some pics,
they are mint, not a mark on them anywhere well worth waiting for

just need to rub down the centre caps and give them a respray, started to bubble, pics show the worst of it

update 5/12/08

not much of an update, but my eyebrows are here, primed and ready to be painted,

cant really got any more pics of the car as its lying down at a mans house waiting to be lifted, but i hope to get it back next week,

am looking some tires for the fanblades, preferabyl 195/50/15 ones, anyone have any lying about?

not really an update jus more bit purchased over christmas and new year

wow :shock: u git lol how much did the bumper cost you ??? mine cost me £60 and wbt the side skirts + ur exhaust looks a lil low 2 the floor other than that thas a sweet lil ride u got there

bumper was 90, and skirts were 40 lol, yeah i have the sebring one on now, the 4" one is sold,

yesh it will do me as i am only 17 and going for the test soon

o cool yh im 16 and i was gunna get the same as ur new exhaust but got a cherry bomb 4 £20 new :lol: found out there illigle now buhh o well its goin on. y worry bowt loud nose sounds good with a growl :lol:

is urs a 1.4?? if so theres a crome 1 on ebay 4 abot £140 yh if u do get a cherry bomb be carefull ov the old bill they now pull u over if ur car sounds 2 loud (how ridiculuss) :lol: :(

lol, hard lines chap lol,

just started putting the hydraulic power steering in today, got the racks changed and sterring hooked up just need to mount bottle and change engine mount now

you fitted the wind deflectors yet? If you have have you got manual or electric windows and how did you fit them?

I've got some with electric windows but mine don't fit!! :(

the wind deflectors should fit any corsa b aslong as yours is 3 door ones, i have electric windows to, and i seen some with them fitted, it just takes a wee bit of time

yeah the pas pump is mounted on the engine mounting with the fan belt tensioner so you have the change it as the engines that dont have pas only have a wee small mount,

Could you do me a favour then and take some pictures as your doing the wind deflectors/after they are fitted so i can see how you did it as mines a three door but once mine are fitted the windows won't go up!

yeah will try get some, it shouldnt affect the windows at all its only a little bit of plastic that slides in around the rubber
