Corsa C Alternator on Corsa B

My alternator and/or alternator bearing is on it's way out, making a horrible squeeling noise, so heading to the scrapyard soon to find a corsa C and get the alternator outta one of those.
Will it fit and work the same?
If not I'll buy a new one 'cus I don't want one that's been sat in a scrap for 10 years.
