wheels offset

hi guys,im looking at getting a set of alloys of which the offset is 25 ,would this be ok ,im told they fit a corsa ,just wanted your "expert" advice,if any issue would arise at a later date if i lowered the car 40mm

I'd stay clear of them mate. Et25 are designed for citroen's and peugeot's. You might find that they will go on (which is what you've been told) but read below for reasons to stay clear.
I have currently got et38 on mine and they stick out by around 3mm. as standard corsa offsets are et49.
Et25 will stick out way to far. you'll defo get pulled for them due to fouling the arches. If lowered you'll also find they'll rub espec on the back. my 38's rub on the back. I've put new et49's on and they seem ok.

40 would be better. Again could be a bit iffee when lowering. I'm having major probs with mine at the mo (see thread major alloy fitting prob) and as i said there the proper vauxhall fitment.

thought the legal offset was 49 for corsa's.
