Hey guys, i got a 1.2 16v corsa for christmas and have been modifying it in tiny sections recently. I didn't know if i should put a project log on here yet but hey, it's an on-going project. I have big plans for this little beast LOL

1) I thought that it needed an exhaust trim firstly cos the basic exhaust is a bit weedy :) that is until i buy my new backbox but lack of funds are preventing that for a while.

2) It needed to be de-badged cos without the vauxhall badge it looks a lot better. I got the Irmscher honeycomb front grille off internet for £20 which i thought was a bargain for a quality bit of kit.

3) Next i needed to buy a spoiler but i wanted something that lookedgood but kept the classy look, so i went to Irmscher online but they all quoted me £290 minnimum!!!!!!! Thats where E-bay came in, from £290 i managed to get the same boot spoiler with integerated brake light from a body shop for only £46!!!!!!!!!!!! now that was a buy.

4) Definately needed some light brows for the front so i got some from a mate online who makes them in his work shop and they only cost £7 which is good for them. They make it look a lot better than normal, and a lot meaner.

5) Finally i felt that it needed some blue xenon bulbs which i managed to pick up for only £5 the pair!!!! Now looks a lot better than it did at the beginning.

Thats all just the exterior so far and now i have bigger plans for the external looks, however i had to change some of the interior and am hoping now to do the same as DanTheMan and spray the inside of the car white. (Air Vents, Door Trim etc) That looks the tits with the new floor mats and the blue and white gaiter set i got.

I.C.E

Thought that this needed to be done over the christmas time cos i couldn't afford nothing else LOL took a weekend and some help from a mate with a jigsaw but all took shape and sounds gr8!

1) Alpine front door speakers
2) JVC Headunit
3) 6X9's Sound the bollocks

Now just need the sub in the boot and i'm sorted, oh and the amp.

I will put some pictures on the blog as soon as i get the time, seeing as i'm a full time student and have no income i don't think it's going bad. Leave us any feedback and all advice is welcomed :D Cheers Guys.
Enjoy this space, more coming soon 8)

yer tis a nice lil clean car . not a fan of 5 doors but its not bad. i think a good de-badge wil make it look bit better ( all badges and door protectors. k&n's are good aslong as you have a cold air feed if not they are w&nk.

Havent left an update for ages about my car so i thought i should. For anyone who is interested i have totally de-badged it, was a nightmare to be honest. Looks great now though and i'm happy with it. I got a new sportex backbox fitted a couple months ago its the oval 4.5" by 3.5" i think but not sure. Now sounds great and terrorises the neighbours in the early hours LOl
I took a road trip to Kent to pick up a wide arch body kit for it but realised that i'm not a huge fan of the plastic look (So much for Fibreglass looking great) and it got quoted at £500 to spray and fit!! Anyway i have just listed that on E-bay and have purchased a GSI front and rear bumper with the fog lights and grille for £85. Have decided that i don't like the plastic trim on the car (E.g wheel arches etc) therefore i am getting these colour coded to my car.

I am hoping that after all of this it will look great in one colour :) Another addition is the new rear loights that i got, £20 white all over and clear. Needed new coloured bulbs which were a nightmare to find but got there in the end.

I decided to clean the entire engine bay which took about 2 hours but now looks great and i have found a shop online who sell engine bay enhancements such as stainless steel covers and chrome bolts etc to give it that extra good look. These are on order.

I am looking for a set of angel eyes for the car to wire up as they look great and hope to get a new clutch soon as mine is a little tired. Oh and needed some new tires so i got some TOYOs which if anything make it look better. Well i checked my old tires which were running a depth of 1.2mm!!!!!!! Better now though 7-8mm all round :)

If anybody has any ideas how to bost performance please reply as i wish to know :) Cheers and hope you like what i've done :)

Anyway hope to get it all fitted before school starts again cos don't wanna be driving round with a bumper hangiong to one side!!!!!!!! LOL i'll try and get some recent pics soon, oh and if anybody knows where i can get the GSI sport alloys then i'd pay good for them :) CHEERS for looking
