I have recently fitted a kenwood cd player into my corsa i have connected all the power cables and speaker cables but i am having trouble identifying the power control wire in my car does any1 know what colour it is?
Also can my new stereo be wired to the little screen on my dash or is that just for the origionall radios?
Thanks

By power control, I assume you mean so it keeps its memory after you turn your ignition off??
On the kenwood loom, there should be a Red and Yellow wire, each of which have a connector half way down. You need to swap these around so the yellow is connected to the red, and visa-versa. This way you don't need to buy an adaptor loom like the seriously overpriced Autoleads stuff. Unless you have actually hard-wired it by cutting the ISO plug from the corsa loom? (bit overkill if you have done it that way)
Also as far as I know, there are no adaptors for the kenwood units to control the MID display sorry.

Ahhh I get you now...
No you don't need to connect that wire to anything other than the remote feed for an external amp if you have fitted one (for powering subs, etc).
Also had a quick check, the KDC-3021 doesn't have the capabilities to interface with the MID display on the dashboard. You can cut a wire on the Corsa loom to bring the date back when the radio is switched on, but I can't remember which wire that is from the top of my head... Only problem with cutting the wire though, is it also kills the feed to the amplifier unit for the radio aerial, so you will have issues with reception if you do this.

Hi guys,
it's the port 8 wire you need to cut which is the red+grey to bring your date back up on the centre display unit.
