let me tell you the story of the worst 3 weeks of my life... ive had my 1.4 sri for around 8 months now, i only passed my test 2 months ago but i saw the car last year and i fell in love with it so i snapped it up for 1500! over the months while waiting for my test i must have spent around 3 grand on things for the car including full exhaust system, lots of momo interior stuff, new wheels and ice equipment and the car was starting to come along nice! so i passed my test spent a weekend getting the car ready and realized i needed a knew master cylinder! but as i was still on cloud 9 after passing my test i left it for a few days until i had well... no breaks! so i left it on the drive for a couple of days and called a mobile mechanic to fit the cylinder...so cylinder in problem sorted! until we go to start her up! and all we get is a big pop from the exhaust which sounded more like a scooby than a corsa! so now the air filters been changed..as well as the battery spark plug and ignition leads and she still wont start..so the mechanic takes it to his garage for the week while iam on holiday to try and resolve the problem. anyway to cut a very long story short 2 weeks later..a new fuel pump/filter, ecu, wiring loom and lots of confused heads my corsa is back on the drive. and boy am i happy.. to be fair the mechanic was a god send (thanks to the yellow pages( and has saved my about 800 quid! so the serious modifying starts here! its now half 1 in the morning and an hour ago i was fitting my angel eyes! wired or dedication? iam not sure!? but iam buying myself a flamer kit 2morro 2 celebrate! peace out people

dude, that sounds lucky compared to what ive been threw. lol. sounds like a headache anyhow!

well.. the basic problem was the engine was rebuilt before i bought the car and the geeza that did the re build (the top man at one of the midlands best known garage\'s-so iam told!) dnt deserve to touch a car ever again cus he dont no what hes doin! and because of his shortcuts ive been without my beast for a month! if only he realized what Ive been goin thru!

pretty much yeah..in a way thow hes done me a favour cus i would never of have found this mechanic and hes really cheap! hes goin to stick me a turbo or red top conversion in at the end of the month! not sure wat to go for! think the 2ltr red top then maybe turbo that in a few years cus i think its cheaper than the turbo and i wanna spend sum money on outside so its lookin good for vauxhall show!

was think about about sum cams and leavin it at that for a while! and just work on the exterier at the moment anyway
