i have just purchased.

my corsa.

the first corsa i built, many many years ago


its been stolen 3 odd times, but they got in and each time failed to get it going.

its had a few chioce mods put on,


and its had a small crash

ill know the extent of the damage tomorow.

so far fail list is.

mfd wont turn off,
tyres rub,.
exhaust rattles on beam
front arch plastics are peeling off,
front end damge, bumper, bonnet, wing, poss slam panel and lower member
ignition is stuffed
lock is stuffed
engine sounds like its really really needs a service,
posibly coolent temp sensor is gone, sender is gone, possibly lambda too.
has been decatted
has foam induction kit,
engine light doesnt come on
temp gauge dosn't work
drivers door is stuffed
dent in boot and rear 1/4 panel
laquer is peeling on the roof
idles funny, starts funny, <due to needing a service, and or cts and lambda
clutch is on the floor. "needs adjusting badly"
gear linkage is worn,
enine mountings are worn.

lol mate sounds like a fun little project and a good base for a stealth weapon post some pics

if the front cross member is bent, or slam panel it'll be stripped and the shell scrapped. i will not drive or sell a bent shell

ad, if the front panel is okay, you need to get it all sorted and poss take this to PVS if the shell aint done

i reckon we can get the head rebuilt no worries...Thats the only problem wit the engine i reckon. Apart from sensors.

I'm sure we can get her all sorted. Unless it has been badly damaged at the front, in which case its not safe and needs to be binned, and i can have the MFD

lifters were always a little noisy, but yeah shell need new ones

does that mean you have 2 corsa projects now?

that remains to be seen. Depends what horrors lie behind the front bumper. We have suspicions that it has been stuffed at the front, so if that is the case, it will be getting binned.

However, should it be ok...yes, it is another corsa to spend money on!

whats the plan then if this is ok another track day car?

na...this will be the run around. means he can sell the audo outright then. just get that gone, as its more hassle than its worth. Then have this as the daily driver, and get the chevette work underway

i havent given up on lil hooligan bonnet is getting flatted and polished then fitted today.
chevette is getting a oil change,
audi, i dunno what im gonna do with the audi

shes back,

ive stripped off the damaged parts.
i dont think she is too bent, goona look into seeing how much a new slam panel will be fitted. or weather it can be re-done
