Hi all,am converting a 94 corsa b 1.2 8v to a c20ne 2.0 8v with f16 gearbox,am currently putting the engine and box in but for the life of me it wont line up,got a drivers side mounting from ebay which says was from a nova that does the c20xe and c20ne,have the original corsa mounting on gearbox side and have put the 12mm spacer inbetween the gearbox and rear mounting,if i have the bolts in the two front mountings the rear is two inches to far back, any help would be appreciated.is the nova and corsa conversion drivers mount the same??
I HAVE A FEELING THE NOVA MOUNTING IS DIFFERNT THAN THE CORSA B ?????. ANYONE KNOW THIS FOR SURE????.
Engine mount from ebay,

The nova mount is quite a bit shorter than the corsa, i've got a combo van with an eco-tec in it and a nova with a 8v in it and i'm just in the middle of building a 8v corsa as well

you need the chassis plate too. type 1 chassis plate, and that should go onto the mount on the engine. My GSi was slightly different as it was type 2 (16v) mounts.
Best way to do the gear linkage is to get an M-tech quickshift from LMFvauxhall. £70 well spent in my opinion. It means you aint bodging it, and makes the gear linkage real taught and there is very little travel!

My corsa has the mount already there so wont need the chasis mount as it was a 1.2 8v,quick shift sounds expensive but sounds like a good idea, got my 2.0 8v running today for the first time after a full engine rebuild, started first turn of key so i was delighted. .just need the gearlikage and sort some drives now, also weld the exhaust together,
