If your looking for more preformance from getting a airfilter, you wont see much change from your car, but it will possibly have a nicer sound to it.. but wouldnt be that loud compared to the more powerful engines.

Id Suggest a K&N 57i Series Induction Kits (part Number '57-0298') On the K&N Site.

I wouldnt go for an induction kit as you have the 1L 12v there are many posts in different forums that are all the same. induction kit on 1L 12v and a few weeks later no power this then gets fixed buy a new air mass flow meter.
Not to mention the price tag of the induction kits that make a nice grunt but will give no extra power to a 1L.

Also most ppl don't realise that the original air box has a pipe that sucks nice cold air from the grill whereas induction kits don't and suck up warm air from around the engine, this will reduce your power unless you make up your own cold air feed out of ducting or something.

Standard replacement filters one work just fine and only cost £5, however if you want something a bit better I would sugest a performance panel filter I bougth a K&N one of these cost me £35 fits in the same as the standard one and will last the life of the car.
