I'm talking of the calibra seat, 3 door. When using the pull thing to let rear passengers in.

right, when you pull the chair forward you need to pull this mechanism to make the chair move forward. When putting it back into it's normal position, most chairs, you can literally push back into position without using the pull system but recently both my chairs have decided to not retain their natural positions unless the pull mechanism is used.

How can I fix this? thx

sounds like the latch is getting stuck
altho im nore sure on these seats as i havnt ever seen any
however most seats work on a simmlar setup.

check at the bottom where the hindge is, you usualy have a metal hook that hooks round a peg to hold it still
this hook usualy on a spring and if the spring is broken it wont hook round the peg and therefore wont lock the seat in place
