Timing Belt Snapped !!!

My timing belt snapped the other day gogin down the bypass fortunetly its a non interface engine (1993 8v LS) ive manedged to fit the new belt but ic ant seem to get the tension right on it any suggestions or tools you think i need?

Does any oen have any ideas this probelm has been bugging me for a week and i cant afford to take it down the garage. its a SOHC if that helps

You need to change the water pump, on most vauxhalls the water pump iz the tensioner for the timing belt
