I fit my sub today with 4awg power cable down the passenger side trim. The trim near the front sticks up now revealing a gap between the trim and inside the trim where the cable itself is. Its about 5mm gap. What should i do about this?
I thought about running it under the carpets but would rather not if possible as it would take ages. Doesnt seem to be enough room down the sills for 4 guage though, i think its mostly where the pillar between the front and rear door is where the sills go narrower and make it harder to keep the wire in. Im worried about water getting in say when i wash my car or it rains and then the water getting in the trim and around the wires.

mine doesnt stick up at all, just poke it behind anything you can, you can feed it behind all trim and it comes out just before the boot begins under the rear cards
