Just bought myself some Philips X-treme Power Xenons (+80% from standard), retail is £25 but you can find on ebay for £18 with free postage and Philips BlueVision sidelights thrown in for free.

Yes, you can drive in any 30mph zone with them on as long as they are WHITE.Are LED sidelights road legal?
- I have blue LEDs in mine, but I only use them at dawn/dusk. At night they do look very blue, but in the daytime when it's raining they look awesome.
As for your bulbs, if you want xenons (I think) you need a HID kit, these usually start at about £100.
I wanted brighter lights so I went for the 'Osram Night Breakers' - they are considered to be the rival of the Philips X-treme Power bulbs and I can't say I'm unimpressed, they are very very good.
visit www.consumabulbs.co.uk - i bought mine from there and the delivery was very quick.
e-mail them and ask if they will throw the sidelight bulbs in for free, why not
