Does your car come with alloys already on standard ?
If it comes with steelies standard then you will have to tell them, If your car came with say 14" alloys on standard then no as long as the new wheels are 14"
Any thing bigger then you will have to tell them.
Hope this helps

i just say it has got vauxhall alloy wheels on it...done.
due to them being of less value than the aftermarket ones...they shouldnt have any problems or charges imposed.

Declare every change to the vehicle from when it left the factory.

Yeh basically what they've sed. But my insurance is swiftcover and they say on their website i dont need to declare alloys as long as they are less than £1000 so thats all good. On the other hand tho if my car got jacked then they wudnt pay out for any rims but if you declared them then they might pay at least something for them
