Hi Folks

If need be, just point me to a suitable, alreay written post, but if not, I have a question: My 1993 1.2 Corsa LS is showing symptoms of a worn clutch. I've read somewhere on the Net (don't ask me where, can't remember) that some models of Corsa have 'access' plates, enabling fairly quick replacememt - i.e. no need to lift or lower the engine/gearbox - but that other models don't have this, making the job much more labour intensive and time consuming. Can anyone help by advising me if my model has these 'access plates'.

Not had to change my clutch yet but I know that they started putting recessed fly wheels on corsas with the clutch inside the recess making it impossible to change the cluch without lifting the engine, as your is a 1993 it should have the old flywheel and an access panel the same as the nova. unfortunatley your only gonna find out by getting underneath and having a look.

I've since picked up the Haynes manual, which mentions this access plate. I'll do a bit more digging
