Everytime i go over the littlest bump i get a knocking sound. It only does it over bumps though. Also my fan belt keeps slipping even tho its brand new...

Cheers.

Does the knocking noise sound like its comming from the back of the car is it worse when poeple are sat in the back?
A common problem is that the exhausts knocks against rear axle, its beacuase the exhaust goes up and over the axle and when you go over a bump the suspension gets compressed and the axle moves closer to the car and bumps into the exhaust. You might want to check the clamp between the backbox and the centre section as sometimes its the clamp that is hitting the axle and you can move it a bit to stop it hitting. The only other thing you can do is try and strap a bit of rubber to the axle so at least you can't hear it go bang.

As for the belt you need to tighten it, depending on what engine you have you either need to adjust the position of the alternator, or if you have an automatic tensioner then this may not be tensioning the belt properly and needs checking. You can buy some stuff called beltslip or somthing like that that you apply to the belt but I don't recomend it and it ussualy just makes the belt squeel worse.
