do u have 2 strengthen the chassis when fitting a let or red top in a corsa?

no as the chassis is stronger than the Nova...
but if its had any bumps & been repaired, might be a giid udea...
or if your planning on silly-silly power!

my mate put a red top in is nova and hes got away without any strengthening.. it just depends!. iam sticking one in my corsa in a few weeks and my mechanic said i deffo wont need any strengthening so there ya go geeza!

i remember years a go someone die and killed 2 others after putting a 2.0l in his nova but did not do any strenght the chassis. the car was twisted so badly. the shell pf the car could not take the power of the car. that\'s why i was asking if it was need in a corsa.

that dont suprise me mate.. i no you can sumimes have some traction problemes with novas when you dont strengthen them, its like putting a calibre turbo in, the car just goes all ova the road! how much is the red top costing you?

mine hasnt been strengthened, just new engine mounts, and a support bar welded to the bulkhead to stop the engine \'flexing\' seems strong enough to me
