Should corsas have one or two reverse lights?

Basically what the question says. Ive got a 2000 GLS model and after taking the rear light clusters out to replace a bulb noticed that the space for the reverse light on the drivers side is just a melted hole with no space to even fit a new bulb into. Is this correct or should there actually be a bulb there? Is it an MOT failure if only one reverse light is working cuz i know some cars only have one to start off with?

corsa bs have 2 reverse lights, and 2 rear fog lights too
not sure if its a MOT faliure but law states you have to have atleast one on the passenger side.

^^ agreed but iirc if the car has 2 they should both work

Hmmm, i'll have to get this checked out. I'll pop up to my local mot garage 2moz and ask them. It does have a working passenger one though. Thanks for the quick reply every1

sounds like a simple fix tho, just pop to scrappers and get another bulb holder cluster.
infact, go one better i seen some LED ones on ebay £90

Yeh the scrappy option sounds good. Them lights look sik but i just aint got £90 atm. I still owe my parents almost a grand for the car and insurance

Follow up: I just checked at a garage. Reverse lights arnt checked on the MOT so it looks like im in the clear. If i can i will try and pic a light cluster up though when i get some spare cash

Yeh but i seriously dont have any free cash atm. Im searching my room for coppers atm to get enough petrol to get 2 school tomorrow lol
