Hi every1. Last night when i was filling up a banged the bodywork cap thing that moves out to 90 degrees to allow access to thew actual fuel filler cap (i aint sure what to call the part, soz). It then completely snapped off :( so now my non locking fuel filler cap is exposed meaning someone can access my fuel if they want to. Now i think my local scrappy has just had a green corsa come in so getting hold of a new cap aint really and issue but ive got a couple of questions that i can't seem to answer with my haynes manual:

1) How do you actually remove this part? i see two screws on the inside but have no idea if there is more to it?

2) My car has central locking and this cap locks with the central locking? Is it just simply a lock so any new cap will fit or is it all designed and cut for my specific car?

Please reply fast as i need to get this sorted this afternoon! Thanks in advance

1. Just undo the screws.
2. The "fuel filler flap" has a hoop on it that the central locking operates on, no extras required.
