basically,drivin along,went to pull away and didnt have any power,seems like theres no pressure,did have a couple of backfires...it seems to be strugglin at really low revs,and seems really rumbly..iv had a look,and had people help..and we reckon its either an air leak..or could be the cat is fookd lol..anyone got any ideas? ur the experts lol

reeet go out lift up you bonnet , start engine and rev it at the engine ( by pulling on the pully and tell me what it does m8 . best thing do it give it lil revs and then big revs. wb when youve donbe it

i did that earlier..at low revs it struggles..but at high revs its not too bad.

jus cause it looks like an evo dont mean your supposed to drive it like one

by any chance was you ragging it at the time?

maybe the mesh grill has caught in the air filter , meanin u have to rev the bollocks off it to get a decent suction ,

nah shouldnt be too expensive really..and iv checked all the filter..had it off completely and still got same problem so its not that,iv got air,iv got fuel,iv got a spark..but no bak pressure..

nah its not anything like that,i mean it smells like its burnin something,and im thinkin the backfires were down to the fact it wasnt burning enough fuel..so if theres an airleak it could mean no pressure..or if the cats buggerd then again it could struggle with pressure...i mean it does sound really rumbly from the cat sort of area..plus the induction is makin alot more noise..like its tryin to suck in extra air

i dont even know if theres anything wrong with my egr valve yet

its probz sumit to do wih ur engine as urv obv bin ragging the f**k out of it prob hitting the rev limiter
