Just read Paulw's guide to oil change!
Anyone know about the difficulties with the 1.0l filter?

OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts
Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!

Re: Basic Service help....
Lots of people get confused when it comes to spark plugs in these engines because it doesn't have HT leads.
You need to remove the bit on the top of the engine that says ecotec then under there is a coil pack which connects to all three spark plugs pull this from all the spark plugs and then you can get to them.
The oil filter on these is a paper one and is inside the little plastic cap circled int the picture

Drain the oil as the guide
Removing and replaceing the filter is a bit different but easy
Unscrew plastic cap that I circled in the picture you will be able to see the filter pull it out, there will be a rubber seal aswell take this out.
Replace with new filter and new seal, rub some oil on the seal like it shows in the guide you should get a seal in the box with the filter.
Then just screw the cap back on and top up with oil as shown in the guide.
