Corsa-B.uk - Vauxhall, Opel and Holden Corsa B Owners Club

Hi every1. Ive been reading around and found that a 4 branch manifold can give an extra 6 - 7 hp on a corsa so im just wondering if my car can be fitted with one. Ive had a look on ebay and there seems to be one for the 1.2 and 1.4 8valve units and the 1.4 and 1.6 16valve units but not for my 1.2 16valve. Also how are they fitted - like is it a DIY job or is it easier to get a local garage or exhaust specialist to fit it?

hello mate there is not a manifold for this engine as i have the same, i was goin to find an old cat cut it out and replace it with a new peice of pipe and weld back together.
but no point on a 1.2 not gonna get much more power

Cheers m8. Thats what i was thinkin - one for other engines but not mine. I still want my cat as i dont know any friendly mot testers that wud pass a decat car lol. And i know it wudnt get much more hp but even like 5hp is pretty gd if i cud find a used one for like 50 quid

get a decat tht jst bolts on? and then when its mot time take it off and whack your cat back on its what most ppl do

Maybe - how much extra hp would a decat pipe give?

duno about 3? it aint much and tbh aint really worth doin on a 1.2 save the money and put it 2wards sumit else
