Is there a special way to remove the pipe clips from the fuel filter on a 1.0l? I noticed loose blue collars that look like they use to be in the clips at both ends.

Thought i may aswell update this for future references....

using long nose plier press in the gaps (two holes either side) of the connectors fitted to the fuel filter and pull away from the filter itself.

You may want a container or something to catch spilt fuel for when it leaks.

Becareful not to pull to hard as plastic does go brittle as i found, pulled to hard and the connector snapped off the hose on one side.

Once fully fitted and nothing is leaking, remember to turn the key not fully on just so you can here the fuel pump passing the fuel back through the system. repeat a couple times and then start the car.
