suggestions for corsa-b.co.uk

Post by matty101 »

hi all,
just thought it would be a good idea if we had a topic where you could add any of your own suggestions on improvements to the site and hopefully the admin's will see this topic and all your great ideas and take notice.

i'll get the ball rollin

what about a online shop where you can buy all ur corsa b memorabilia, sticker T-shirts etc.

just a thought.

please feel free to share your ideas....
OFFICAL DVLA DATA:

735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts

Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!

Yeh i think an online shop would be a gd idea. Also maybe a few more guides/faqs would be good to save so many repetitive posts in the help section

yeah would be helpful but how would they found out know if some is a bit iffy,

mite be a good idea if you could have some sort of voting system, and if someone gets more than, say 10 votes there account is deleted and they are unable to rejoin.

u'd have probly have to limit each person to one vote per member so they dont just go mad.

what do you people think???

any other ideas welcome!!!!!!!!!!!

we need meets going on because how i see this is that most people come on here to ask questions in the help forum and to buy/sell stuff.

we need national meets even if its just once a month or every 2 months instead of just meeting once a year for pvs

i think so :)

nice one mate, suppose u wud dot them around the coutry and that so it wasnt always the same people traveling. suppose theres nothin to stop you doin sumit like "gumball rally" but on a smaller scale? or just sumit similar :meh:

the problem is gettin some one to organise it in advertisin and poo, but all u would have to do for advertising is put like cards under people wipers with details on.

any coments welcome.

Lol yeh that wud be gd. And i agree with the mesh specialist guy - some people are a bit rube but a full account deletion is a bit extreme. They need to be like they are on gaming forums and give people warnings and then 24 or 48 hour bans first to let them know the situation. But there again we are all adults (nearly anyway) so it shudn't be for things like bad language and things lol

A real-time chat widget would be nice.

Or some fun (prizeless) forum games.
One forum I was on copied another forums idea of taking pictures of your Corsa in funny places, the best one gets to pick the criteria for the next photo. For example, take a picture of your car with the boot open and boats in the background. The winner might then decide to ask people to take a picture of their car in front of a police station with toilet paper on it. (And yes, that picture was taken!)

Just something simple to do but funny looking at all the crazy pictures people take!
