cold air feed

i want to make my corsa quicker i was thinking i could just remove all the pipes from the air box block the normal hole and fit a cold air feed that id mount in the front bumper and use original fiter would this make much diffrence???? if so has anyone got any cold air feeds for sale???

If it has a standard airbox then it already has a cold air feed, you only need to put in a cold air feed if you replace the standard airbox with a K&N or similar

OHH OK BECAUSE I WANTED TO PUT A INDUCTION KIT ON BUT SOMONE SAID I SHOULD BUILD A BOX AROUND THE AIR FILTER AND HAD A COLD AIR FEED SO I WAS JUST WONDARIN IF IT WOULD DO THE SAMDE WIHT A COLD AIR FEED DO YOU KNOW IF YOU CAN GET INDUCTION KITS WITH HEAT SHIELDS ECT??

There's no point unless you do the complete exhaust and do other engine mods. Performance wise you wouldn't notice any difference but you'd notice a change in engine note.

Mobiius is right you won't notice any difference in power from fitting an induction kit but it does make it sound a bit nicer.
Your friend was also right as most induction kits just leave an exposed cone fillter under the bonnet that is free to suck up hot air if you buy one of these you should put it in a box and fit a cold air feed to it.
This one comes in a box but a cold air feed is need
To be honest they cost a lot and won't make any difference save the money and do some real performance mods, I put a performance panel filter in mine, so its still standard but with a top qualilty filter.

That carbon one's the one I have in my Corsa. I still need to fit the CAF though.

today i derestricted my air box and its a bit better more responsive i wanna get a cold air feed but i scared of wata going in cos latly my areas fluddin weekly we keep gfetin trentral rain and it cums up to the door sills if i get one itl have to b in the grill is that wise?? wont get too much air forced in will it?/
