I recently purchased a Corsa Vegas 1.4i 1997 'P' Plate. I am wondering what engine I have for when ordering parts.. The engine rocker cover is a general looking black cover with VAUXHALL in white raised letters on the cover. its not ecotech as i have seen one in a friends corsa. I can email a pic if needed.

if its not an ecotec i believe its the 1.4 8v

Yes it is a 1.4 8 valve but i think he wants the engine code thing for it (like x14 or whatever it is). I don't know much about ythis kinda thing lol

u need to look on your block under the ht leads

If it has a dizzy cap then its a C14NZ if it has a dispack then its a X14SZ.
