Ok my problem is that I have my 1st ever MOT due very soon as the current one runs out in a few days . I have got a rust hole in the boot under the spare tyre its slightly bigger than a 50p piece and you can see right through to the road (yikes)
Would this be an MOT fail ? if so could somebody please give me some advice on how to fix it and what to use . Also I have that annoying corsa b problem where the exhaust is touching the rear axle any advice on how to fix this would be appreciated , I worry that when the MOT tester gets in and moves it he will hear it scraping and think what a junkheap before he has even starts doing anything !
everyone has been very helpful on this forum before and any advice from members would be brilliant thanks.

You should be fine i think - i see a lot of cars driving around with rust holes in. I think they are only looking for rust in certain structurally important areas such as the A and B pillars

Shouldn't be as its not a structural panel.
Stick a rubber bung in it.

if your that worried just stick some tape over the hole..they cant fail u on what they cant see lol.and usually new mountin rubbers sorts out the problem of the exhaust on the axle.

Thanks for all the replies sorry I didnt reply on Monday but the site seemed to be down , thats great news about the holes being ok . Last night I got a big chunk of hard rubber and wedged it between the rear axle and exhaust and straight away all those bloody noises have gone . You guys are great . cheers.
Hopefully I will pass MOT but if not I will be back for advice if any problems .
