need help!!!!

hi there im in need of some help.
when im driving along and i go to put my foot down i seem to loose all power like its spluttering i then have to turn the ignition off then back on and that seems to clear it..
it also does it when i pull up to roundabouts and junctions even when going down the motorway.
if any one can help me would be very greatfull. has any1 else had this problem.
the car is a 1.4 16v sri.

plugged it in to the snap-on scanner today and it came up with "quad driver module" fault code 93. spoke to the auto electrion at my work and he said that it is a ecu fault. so i need a new ecu basically. so does anybody no any1 selling a ecu.

code 93 is a "Quad driver module" fault no idea what the quad driver module does but it is part of the ECU so if its nackered then a new ECU is needed.

Try leaving the battery disconnected for a few hours this will reset the ECU, it might not fix it but it doesn't cost anything so its worth a try.

For a replacement ECU you will need to go to a scrap yard and find a corsa with the same engine and try for the same spec e.g. if you have EPS/ABS. You should be able to get one from another vauxhall just try your best to get one from a similar year.

The immobiliser is in the ECU so you can't just swap them, you need to take apart the key from the car you are taking the ECU from and get the chip out of it and swap it with the one in your key. You also need to swap the transponder that is in the steering column its a ring that goes around the ignition barrel it reads the chip in the key, you must have the chip/transponder/ECU from the same car for the immobiliser to work
