None! It'll only add BHP if you have a full, ported, de-catted performance exhaust and intake system with cold air feed. And even then, you'll be lucky to get much, perhaps only 5%

It'll sound better though.

Nitrous, turbo, engine swap, fast road cams, weight removal, lightened flywheel/crank/pistons, full performance intake / exhaust, ECU remap, a full service, replace sparkplugs/HT Leads/alternator/battery with performance ones (Very slight increase), higher octane fuel.

Or, buy a more powerful car! lol

your best bet i reckon should be straight through performance exhaust and strip the back down to the shell!

Even then you're looking at about £800 upwards for a full performance stainless exhaust system, and you've still gotta sort the intake out to get the maximum benefit.

Everything! In my car, i've removed the complete rear seats, door cards, rear panels, boot panels, tailgate panel, parcel shelf, rear carpet, rear seatbelts, rear seatbelt mounts, roof lining, A pillar plastics, B pillar plastics, C pillar plastics, sun visors, stereo, glove box and replaced the OEM steering wheel. I still need to remove the gear stick/handbrake surround and the front carpet.

Believe me, you WILL feel the difference! I did!

okay you're right about the performance exhaust. but i know a mate who just got a plain pipe welded from his manifold to the backbox! no cat, no silencer lol! crazy illegal but my that thing was fast for a 1.4. and loud as hell

none/minus a few unless you have the car remapped to suite same with big exhausts, most of the time the ecu specs won't cover it and will just run lean.

A good service with some decent plugs and leads will do it the world of good, some new tappets will help along with a nice adjustable cam pulley to ensure accurate cam timing and a sportier models cam, personaly I would only fit (if i had too at all) a panel type sports filter and keep the airbox and not one of the cone type ones even with a cold air feed they still suck in a lot of hot engine bay air and a nice not to big exhaust system (decent quality with absorbsion mufflers) along with some injectors of a bigger car and have a higher pressure fuel pressure regulator fitted.

That way you have a better chance of the ecu coping with the changes.
