Whenever i have gone out for a drive and when pulled over and the engine is ticking over the engine makes a knocking noise but when getting revved there is no noise.

Any ideas

lift the bonnet , an watch the engine when its turned on see if it jumps more , possible cam rail

check oil levels first off.
try to listen where the noise is cumming from.

Engine oil is fine I even did an oil change because of it.

Will check to see if it jumps more soon
