Hi all, Have got a 1996 corsa premier 5 door 1.2 with c12nz engine
In the dark i connected the battery the wrong way round (Yes i'm an idiot). Know the car won't start!!! It turns over but no spark. No power from the coil or the ignition amplifier. Have had a diagnostic plugged in No fault codes & the ECU is ok, i have traced all the cables & checked the fuses with no success! Does anyone have any ideas as I'm about to hit myself on the head with a hammer!!!

but ive nearly connected my battery wrong a few times as the negative cable to my battery is RED WTF!

Dunno the form on modern cars but years ago I did the same thing, burnt out the voltage regulator. Is there such a thing nowdays?

Maybe you reversed the polarity of the battery, this happens sometimes when the battery is connected up incorrectly.
