hi.
i'm looking at buying a Corsa 1.0 sting but on the dash when you turn on the ignition a little orange light with a tap in it stays on(we think it is an emissions indicator). just wanted to know what the problem is and is it easy to fix. if not will it fail its M.O.T if its not fixed. and also there is a small wine that comes from the gear box. is this bad?
Thanks Toby

dont buy it,
if the engine light is on, it will fail an mot, it needs to be plugged in and the fault found, it could be a £10 sensor, it could cost hundreds
and a whine from the gearbox can be 2 things, its broke, or its been stood for a while.
id walk away, plus the 1.0 12v engine and sometimes the 1.2 16v engine are prone to failiure.
get a 8v if you want a 1.2
its much cheaper to fix if it ever goes wrong
