I've heard sticking lowering springs on standard dampers makes your handling go to poo.
So i was just wondering what lowering kits like these
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Suspension-Loweri ... 286.c0.m14
are like, considering i cant afford coilovers.
Will these increase my handling? How are they for value for money? Whats peoples opinions on them? etc
Cheers

Okay thanks alot
Think i'll invest in a set of these then
One more question. If your drop your car 60mm, can you still get a full car in (5 people) without the wheels scraping the arches?
Cheers

the correct off-set for corsa is ET49 . yes most vauxhalls are et49 so you can fit any corsa or astra etc (4-stud) wheels.
Offset is the distance between the hub mounting face at the back of the wheel and the wheel's centreline.

I just looked at a set of corsa C sxi alloys on ebay there and they said "185/55/15"
Does that not mean they have a offset of 55?

nope ''185'' is the width of the tyre, ''55'' is the tyre wall height and ''r15'' is the size of tyre. 55 is pritty tall but you can always changethem to a more low profile.e.g 45 would be best

the correct off-set for corsa is ET49
so with ET49 offset could you lower it 60mm with out it rubbing?
