Reverse Lights not working

The reverse lights has stopped working on my mums 1999 corsa 1.0

I've checked fuses and replaced bulbs but still nothing. I'm thinking it's got to be the switch the turns on the reverse lights to come on when reverse gear is selected.
Could anyone tell me where the switch im looking for is located? Would it be attached to the gear box or under the gear stick inside the car?

its on the front of the gearbox mate , it has a 2 wire connector on it, all you need is a 19mm socket and a ratchet to take it out, its always the switch that fails on them, they aint expensive and are easy to replace.....
