1.4 Sport ?

YOYO im back on finally lol.. and ive decided i want my corsa back lol but sumit abit quicker but as im in my first year of driving still i can only really stretch to the 1.4 sport ...just wondered what they where like really never looked into them before.. anyone??

the 1.4 16 valve engine is pretty strong and pulls well. From every1 ive talked to with them they seem to be happy. Mds are cheap and plentiful - for example you can get the inlet manifold from the bigger 1.6 engine and justswap it on for instant power gains.all i can say is watch out for tired engines - i wud imagine its prove to being thrashed as its a higher performance corsa and people will inevitably try to keep up with all the other hot hatches like gsi's and vts and the like. Dont let that put u off, theres obviously a lot of gd cars out there but always get an extended test drive to see how the engine feels at a variety of speeds

shouldve come with the coilys but didnt i miss driving the corsa tho it aint the same lol

get one mate..i am lol...drove my mates 1.4 8v and that was well nippy compared to my 1.2,and the 8v is only 60bhp..the 16v sport has 90bhp lol

Insurance on the 1.6 is silly so what i might do is get a 1.6 engine n drop it in cos there almost the same aint they

dropping different engines in can be a git to do tho i been looking into it alot
your more than likely have to get different ecu and all that jazz

also my mate has the 1.4 16 valve sport he said the brakes wasnt to good and he checked the pads there all fine
just hought id let you know

yeh iv heard that..coz they have the same brakes as the 1.0 n 1.2s i think..but more power lol

Something wrong with your mates brakes I think. And no, they don't have the same brakes as the 1.0/1.2. They have ventilated discs.

they do have more or less the same as the 1.2 newer version ( vented disks ) i think you mate needs change his brake fluid .

Well I have a 1.6 on the way, gonna plonk it into my car replacing a 1 litre. Sod telling my insurance company. I don't drive like an idiot, so the chances of me making any sort of claim are nil

its the other people yu wanna worry about lol...im back in my old corsa this week cos the golfs being smoothed
lol its hell compared the my golf lol idle control valve is f**k its uncomfortable smells old urgghh llool defo aint goin down the old poo route lol
