Hey, I was looking into getting a better pair of door speakers for my 3 -door breeze, but i dunno what size and other things i need to take into account, because i want to do a straight swap!

I was also wandering if i could buy a opair of 6 x 9's and just swap them for my rear speakers, (just disconnect the standards, and connect the new ones)

Is this possible?

Number 2 - yes its a 5 min job - well easy

Number 1 - ur gonna need 2 get something called spacers (things that move the speakers further out into the car) otherwise the magnets will go 2 far back and stop the windows from going down. This is due to the magnets in most aftermarket speakers being much bigger than the standard vauxhall speakers. Another issue is the corsa only has 2 holes per speaker and all others have four so the spacers changes this for you. Most 13cm speakers should fit and a few 17cm ones will but just check the magnet depth on them.

simple sollution to doin front door speakers rether than drillin hole or choppin poo up. get these adapters they screw striaght in to place in the existing holes then you would simply screw ur new 13cm speakers straight in to them......

they come in 13cm and 17cm - 13 cm is a direct fit!

Nice, ill have to look into them, They look like they protrude abit tho, will i need to do anything to my door cads or should they be just the same?

ive got a set of the 17cm adapters new you can av em for £5 posted.

and they dnt protude sit behind the door cards like origional

yeah mate they sit exactly the same as the orgnal speakers

this may sound daft, but im new to this....

Iv i buy some 13cms for my doors, and maybe some 6x9's for my parcel shelf, and just swap the wires from the origional rear speakers to my new 6x9's, will that work? or will i need to amp them?

If im just doing a straight swap, does it matter if they wre 2-way or 3-way?

ive just put some fli comps in my doors where the original ones were (17cm ones)

used the adapters and wiring adapters to fit them to the exisitng wiring

the door cards do not go on right with those particular speakers i brough

im going to get some 13cm ones in the front and place the 17cm ones somewhere else i think for a better fitment

mine is a 3 door breeze also btw
