when going over speed bumps or a jolt in the road, i can feel what i can only discribe as some sort of movement,feels like something going to side to side maybe? only happens when going over speed bumps, and you can hear a slight rock as whatever it is moves. any ideas people?

im not 100% sure mate but check your exhaust hangers, mine broke and it knocked whenever i had people in the back or went over bumps, worth checking.

could be mate, it sounds like its coming from the engine area. maybe under the engine, because when going over bumps its like you can hear/ feel it in the pedals. the pedals arent moving, there is nothing wrong with the pedals but thats where you can feel it. its like a rockin clonk, if that makes sense?

well i can only suggest the obvious then mate and check in the engine bay to see if theres anything loose or if something is caught up in there. sorry mate

yeah had a look many times , cant see any problems, i have a split balljoint, which i have the part to replace, but i dont think its that?

have you jacked it up to look under the engine bay near the manifold where it connects to the exhaust, i know from past exp that the exhaust can cause a similar problem

would any of the bushes be worn and theres play when it goes over bumps?

try checking the engine and gearbox mounting bracket bushes for wear m8
also the basics - snaped springs, burst shockers, anti-roll bar bushes , top and bottom ball joints .

yes there is a high chance of it being the bushes but i cant be sertin so heave a poke about with a lever and check the play in the bushes before u spend money mate

my mate had a similar problem in a 106 he took it to a garage and it was an engine mount had come loose might be worth checking that too
