car speedo dosnt work after wiring volt gague

hi im new to this fourm stuff n i wired a volt gauge to my corsa gsi through the car stereo through the ignition live part n then i started up the car n volt gauge worked fine but my speedo dosnt work n now my car stalls its self every time i come to a stop what could of happend plz plz plz help

lol theres a few things u cood have done m8 sounds to me like u have overloaded an earth wire .
i would retrace back and double check everything with a volter meter .
if all else fails just either wire in the voltmeter using different lives and earths and put the old wiring back in or run new ignition sensor and spedo lives .

hay i took the car to the vauxhall garage n the speedo cable snapped that all had nothink to do with the volt guage thanks for the help any ways
