1.2 to 1.4??
what do you have to do to change a 1.2 club 2 a 1.4 other than change engine over????? both 16v

I think thats all you need to do, change the engine over
Apparantly you can keep the same gearbox aswell
Im thinking of doing this as the 1.2 16v engine is 65bhp whereas the 1.4 16v is 90bhp which is quite a difference

yea nt to forget the tork diffrence and with the 1.2 box it prob as quicker ratios so it might b alot quicker thaan a 1.4

ok, there are differences in the mounting if i remember correctly. the 1.2 16v unit is the same as the corsa C and is pretty much exactly the 12v motor in terms of mounting and wiring.
you are gonna need new mounts, i would get an F15 box, as they are strong and offer the best ratios for the 1.4 tbh...
the wiring loom from the 1.4 will go straight in no worries and there is everything in there already to make it troublefree in theory! shouldnt be too hard.
