Conversion help?

I currently have a 1.2 corsa b sxi but just testing the water for engine conversions.
What size engine requires which mods?
For example i know to upgrade to a 1.4 16v i'll only need a new wiring loom and gearbox for example
But what would i need to do for a 1.6 16v and a 2.0?
