Outside Temp. Sensor

Corsa B 1996 model, since I got it the temp. sensor is going a bit wacky. Most of the time it's blank " --.-°C " but sometime it seemed to be displaying -32
Of course it's not the correct one. What I wanted to ask is if anybody knows where exactly this sensor is located and how to get to it for a bit of inspection (the more details the better
) I'm suspecting all the amount of dust and debris I've cleaned out of the engine bay when I bought the car might have something to do with the failure.
Thanks a bunch !!
Cheers !

It's located behind the front bumper in the centre. Just below the radiator.
You can buy them for around £10 on ebay. Just unclip the old and connected the new. Simples

mine did exactly the same thing, i tried loads of new temperature sensors and it didnt work
so i decided to take out the display and have a look, i checked all the connections for dry joints and were ok but where the cable plugs in the back, the black block which it connects to which is soldered into the circuit board had come loose ever so slightly and broke some of the solder off the points
so i got my soldering iron out and carfully re-soldered the block back in properly and put it back together and tryed it.......
it now works perfectly!!!!
hope this helps

ok...another small question...how do you remove the display ?? Mine has a bit of a problem, I think you have to first remove the panel underneath the display to get to it (am I right ?) and for some reason I cannot open the middle knob, it's easy to remove the other 2 (the one that controls heat-cold and the one for AC/fan blowing zones) but the third one in the middle won't come off (the one with 1-2-3-4 positions) I pulled very hard, tried with a screwdriver but couldn't take it off, if I'd tried harder, it would've probably broke.
SO back to my question...how exactly do you remove the display ??

Ok....thanks a lot again, the clock part was super easy to remove once I got to know how to get to it...
But I've tried to remove the third (middle) dial , put a small screwdriver in there...wiggled and wiggled....to no avail...
Maybe someone can indicate more specifically which type of screwdriver (I tried using a smallish one that would easily fit thru that hole and I've also tried a long , thin steel wire , but I cannot seem to get it to open). Also where does the screwdriver need to go ? Must I put it in at a 180 degree angle relative to the console (flat against it) or at a different angle ? is there some hole where it needs to go that I can't find ? Please describe the mechanism that holds it maybe then I can understand how to open it...
Thanks again, really very much appreciated..

There is a small hole that the driver or whatever needs to fit into, this will release a catch and the knob will pull off. Driver would be flat against the panel when doing this.

whew...it worked , finally
, it was stuck because of dust, etc...I used a flashlight to see exactly what's in there and then it opened...it looks like there should have been a bulb underneath maybe to light on when pulling the knob for the window defogger thing....or not ??
