that's right, my corsa won't even start

it started putterering and stalling randomly a couple of weeks ago, especially on low revs.

then suddenly one day, it just wouldn't start..

changed spark plugs and motor oil not long ago, and i did check for sparks.

then i went on to the fuel filter and the fuel pump, and they both work, but i can't hear the pump priming when the ignition is turned on.. (read in the Haynes manual that i should be able to hear it for about 2 seconds when the ignition is turned on) so, i took the pump out of the tank and connected it directly to the battery, fired up, no problems. checked that the connection to the pump is getting power. well, the test lamp was kind of weak, baut that could be caused by a bad earth point.

now i'm wondering if it might be the fuel pump relay. have read on some forums, and this seems to be a common flaw.

so, guys, I REALLY need your help here.. 8)

well, the car actually started today, but still stalling when dropping from high to low revs..

thinking it may be the idle control motor or something..

when my car did this, it was the crank sharft Sensor and the cam sharft sensor that went wrong.

I had this exact problem, turned out to be my egr valve. Try cleaning that.
