right then started to do more and more to the corsa so fort i might aswell start a log.
so from the begining.
what it looked like when i first got it.
bought some alloys of my brother and stuck them on.
managed to get some cheap angel eyes and a honeycomb grill which really improved the front end.
decided the back end need something to mean it up abit so tinted the back lights....legal? probly not
now for the newer stuff, got me some coil overs (fk automotive)
fitting them
got them fitted looking lovely
right then now the problems on the way home it started makeing a really bad knocking/banging noise everytime i went over a little bump or speed hump even at slow speeds, it sounds like someones hitting the car with a sledge hammer or somthing it really doesnt sound good, i've taken a few pics so any help would be great cheers guys
any idea's any body spot anything i've forgotten to put on or take off, please help guys.

cheers mate the black alloys will be up for sale soon as they are the wrong ofset for a corsa and they rubbed before i lowered it so they just wudnt work with it lowered 60mm, but they've got 4 brand new khumo tyres on so they shud go for a pritty penny.

Did you remember to tighten the top nut on each strut?
In fact, did you tighten each nut to the correct torque range? If you did it too tight you could snap the bolt, too loose and it'll come off.

well firstly, your supposed to change the bolts on the bottom of the shocks, and double check that the spring is sitting in the cups properly. the top has to fit into the rubber surround the right way and the same with the bottom. the bottom has a groove that the spring sits in when its the right way round. if this is wrong it causes all sorts of noises when turning and going over bumps. hope this helps.
the big bang you hear when you go over a big bump, are you sure its not the springs hitting eachother?

cheers for that mate will give it a go, and i'm pritty sure its not the springs hitting each other almost sounds like there bottoming out, so i'm thinking the bump stops is the most plausable at the moment, will check that any way.
thanks alot guys great help
