engine problem

yesterday i waxoiled the underside front to back, now wether its unlucky bt my car ran fine all day parkd in garage... wen i had finished waxoil i started it up and suddenley BANG.. i lifted the bonnet and the plastic inlet manifold had broke in 2!!! obviously backfired,, what could cause this? have i disturbed something near the fuel tank? got it running after bodging the inlet (anyone got one for sale c16xe pre ecotec) but it ticksover low and uneven and almost stalls... leaak at throttlebody???? please help................

thats really weird how it did that

dont see how it could of had anything to do with the waxoil

why does this site constantl log you out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! only thing tht changed was waxoil so i dont understand, maybe i disturbed fuel pump? or wiring? it ticks over very low and when reved it takes ages to fall.......???

i dont know why it logs you out all the time really, and its acting like its got a air leak somewhere, probably on inlet manifold that you bodged
