Hello, im looking at buying another Corsa B for the Missis, and i have found one at a really decent froce, it a 1.2 club X reg with 89K on it.
The problem is while driving the car with high(ish) revs, it seems to hesitate a little bit, not a lot but it is knoticable.
secondly, while at a standstill if you rev the engine from idle, it seems so struggle for the first little bit, then revs freely after this up to to rev range.

Do we have any ideas what could cause this, as i dont really want to buy a lemon, but its a solid car if its only £100 or so to fix it.

Any ideas.

idle control valve
Mass airflow meter
Clogged fuel filter
catlytic converter / o2 lambda sensor
Vaccum leak
Faulty Dis system/coil packs

to name a few

id start with the idle control valve and maf as these are common problems with corsa bs
